Privacy Policy

This is a short policy because the site does very little with data.

What is collected

• Server logs. Our host records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user-agent — as part of serving the site. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and they are discarded on a rolling basis.
• Aggregate analytics. We look at which pages get read, in aggregate. No profile is built of any individual visitor.
• Email you send us. If you write to the address on the contact page, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and then no longer.

What is not done

Your data is never sold, rented, or traded. We do not run advertising networks, we do not operate cross-site tracking, and we do not require an account to read anything here. There is no newsletter and no marketing list.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If any cookie is used at all, it is functional and strictly limited to making pages display correctly.

Opting out

You can block cookies and scripts in your browser and the site will still work normally. To have an email exchange deleted from our records, write to the contact address and ask; we will remove it and confirm. For anything else — a copy of what we hold, or a request to erase it — the same address applies.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from an external font service, which means that service receives your IP address when a page loads. We share nothing else with anyone.
